Some Call It “Getting Schooled”

These past few days have been humbling in many ways from the inability to communicate, to the intimidating participants with years of experience, education and just plain intelligence. If I take away anything from this experience it is that I have so much to learn!

The people I have connected with are more worldly than I thought possible, and most certainly more ‘studied’ than college loans would ever allow, and the ambition, unbelievable!

The conversations, not to mention the various languages, that surround me on a daily basis are something one would never believe existed unless experienced.

But last night we celebrated! We came together as a global community not as intellectuals, or politicians, or princes, or heads of states but individuals with a common ambition, to save our planet, ensure a future for the next generation and solve this thing we are calling a ‘climate crisis.’ And boy was it a celebration (with a conscience of course)…
