Why Blog?

A simple question for such a complicated answer. In my mind your typical bloggers are usually stylish, funny, writers, well educated or lead beautifully extravagant lives- so I don’t exactly fit in with your ‘typical’ blogger. But I may have a story to share and I encourage you to laugh along with me on this adventure or mis-adventure as it may be.

And that brings me to my simple answer… I’m headed for an adventure of a lifetime. I’ve landed a dream job and am working for one of the most inspirational ladies I have ever had the pleasure to call boss (more on this topic later). The more complicated answer is that some truly inspiring people in my life (Liz Coufal and Taylor Ellison to name a few)  have encouraged me to share my story and more importantly my adventures; reminding me that people will actually want to read and follow along. I have my doubts, but these ladies know what they are talking about when it come to passion, inspiration and following their dreams.

In an effort not to bore you, I’m going to try and keep these posts short, sweet, to the point and full of pictures soon enough.

So if you’re still reading welcome to my journey into the Amazon Rainforest through the eyes of a Cajun girl from the city. I hope I’ll be able to entertain you but more importantly inspire you to take chances, look at the world differently, and inspire others…
